SatinSilkLace has been created to provide all brides, no matter what their budget, the wedding dress of their dreams. Born out of my own frustration at the cost of a wedding dress for my own dress and the not so great service I received in a traditional store. I decided to create an online store with a personalised service for each and every individual bride that manages to find them the dress of their dreams at a realistic price while not compromising on quality or design.

Due to the nature of the items ordered and the nature of the formal wear industry, ALL SALES ARE FINAL. SatinSilkLace does not accept returns, issue refunds or allow exchanges. It is important to note, formal wear designers will not allow orders to be cancelled, modified, or allow SatinSilkLace to return an ordered item. ALL SALES ARE FINAL, NO EXCHANGES, NO REFUNDS, NO CANCELLATIONS, and NO EXCEPTIONS.

Order Processing
Processing of your order will begin immediately upon receipt.
You will receive an order confirmation within 72 hours giving you the estimated date your item will ship. This ship date is an estimate and can vary one to two weeks from the actual ship date. Designers will not give exact ship dates only estimates. Our ordering department is in continual contact with the designers to ensure you receive your order at the earliest possible date.
Once your item is shipped, you will be receive an email notification that your item has shipped.
Payment Policy
Full payment for your gown will be required at time of ordering.
Preferred method of payment is via the secure server of Paypal to enquiry@satinsilklace.com
We cannot order the gown until payment has been made.
In some circumstances Direct Bank Deposit may be offered
Additional Charges
If for any reason an addition charge is required to process your order, you will be notified via email and/or phone of the additional charge before your order is processed
Reasons for additional charges:
Extra Length or Hollow to Hem - These are custom design fees that designers charge us. If you have requested an extra length or hollow to hem additional charges will be required. You will be notified of the cost.
Pricing Errors - Every effort is made to ensure information and prices on our web site is correct. In case of a rare pricing error we reserve the right to correct the error before your order is processed. You will be notified of the error, and must give the go ahead before your order is processed
Import Tax
Your gown will be arriving direct from the manufacturer in the United States. For purchase over $1000 you may be subject to import tax. Please see the relevant Government website for more information about this charge.

Shipping
Shipping to anywhere in Australia is Free. Your gown will be shipped to you direct from the manufacturer for special orders. For sample/overstock gowns, they will be sent after inspection but SatinSilkLace. You will be provided with a tracking number for your shipment
International Shipping. We do ship to select international destinations. After you place your order you will be emailed the cost of shipping your order. You must respond to the email with an authorization for the additional shipping charge. If you do not respond your order will not be processed.
Sizes and Colours
Size Selection - Size selection is the total responsibility of the purchaser. Refer to the designer's size chart listed with the item you are purchasing. Each chart is different so look carefully when choosing your size. Compare your measurements to the correct size chart, remembering you are choosing the closest size to your measurements. Most gowns/dresses will require some alterations. Designers do not offer custom sizing. We cannot make any accommodations for changes in your size. SatinSilkLace will not allow for refunds or exchanges due to sizing errors.
Colour Selection - Actual colours may be different than those displayed on your computer monitor. Make sure you order the correct colour. Refer to designer's swatches if possible. SatinSilkLace does not have swatches to send to you. The purchaser is responsible for the colour that is ordered.
Privacy and Security
Your privacy and your information security are important to us. All order transactions are handled via a secure connection and the information is encrypted. Your private information is removed from the server as soon as we process your order.
