Frequently Asked Questions
Will the gown be Authentic and not a cheap knock off?
We guarantee that you will receive a genuine gown by your chosen designer. Gowns will be ordered brand new, to your size and colour specifications just as in a traditional bridal store. We are currently in the process of setting up a brick and mortar store, soon you will see our name on the designers websites.
How can you sell the gowns at such great prices?
My business is run from my home. I do not have a store to upkeep, staff to pay or sample gowns to look after and update. I offer buy in gowns direct from the source and cut out all the middle man costs.
How do I pay for my gown?
Payment for your gown is required upfront as with any internet shopping site. We accept Paypal, Visa, Mastercard, Bank Deposit.
How long will my gown take to arrive?
Please allow 20-24 weeks for delivery. 2 weeks after the estimated shipping date is not considered late by most designers. If you have any concerns about when your gown will arrive please contact us at any time.
Some designers offer a rush cut in 10-15 weeks for a small fee ($200approx) If you wish to take advantage of this service please let me know at time of order.
How soon should I look for my gown?
I suggest that you start deciding on a style of gown 6-12 months out from the wedding. We often need a week or so to make sure we can source the gown you want at a better price and for special orders please allow 6months for the gown to arrive.
How will I know what style suits me?
We suggest heading to your local bridal store and trying on some gowns before ordering. Please take note of the designer, colour and size the consultant suggests you order, so you can let us know. Size and colour choice are entirely the clients responsibilty.
I see no price listed for a dress that I am interested in, why is that?
Our goal is to always offer you low prices on the designer gowns you want. However, some manufacturers place restrictions on how prices on their gowns may be communicated.
If the gowns have no price please contact us and we will quote you in 24hours.
How late can I wait to order a dress to get it in time for the event?
Waiting to the last posible moment to order a dress is the best way not get one before your event. There are many reasons to order as soon as you find the gown you love.
The price may change and go up. Typically, prices go up every 3 months and you would hate to loose out on the bargains.
The dress may get discontinued. There are 2 dress seasons for new gowns, but typically 4 times a year for them to get discontinued and no longer made. Some designers also discontinue gowns if materials for that gown can no longer be gotten.
Shipping delays and manufacturing issues may push your gown past you requested date leaving you with no dress. This includes and natural disasters, civil conflicts and/or country dutie policies.
Delivery times change daily and are adjusted by the designer. The designer may have to move manufacturing time longer based on their own reasons.
